I’m new to this business, what is the difference between roof bars and roof rails? Roof rails are factory fitted and run from the front to the back of the vehicle. Roof bars go across the vehicle from side to side and are essential for fitting roof boxes and roof rack accessories.

Yes, You must have Roof Bars fitted, click on the Roof Racks tab and select Application Guide from the main menu, in the top menu then use the dropdown boxes to select your vehicle, Make - Model - Year, click the Find button, that gives you the complete roof bar kit for your vehicle.
Is there any restrictions as to the size of box that I can fit onto my vehicle? Yes, there is a weight restriction, see vehicle handbook for details. As a rule of thumb, a large box on a small car is not a good option, more susceptible to cross winds etc.
I want to buy a Roofbox, how can I be sure it will fit my roof bars? Roof boxes fit all popular roof rack systems, check the maximum bar width if in doubt.
